The prerequisite for this degree is a B.A. degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university. Degrees from unaccredited schools are considered on an individual basis.

A total of 18 credit hours is required for completion of the certificate, distributed across Biblical Studies and Christian Theology, with the option to concentrate in specialized areas.

At least 12 credit hours must be completed on campus to provide regular and substantive student–faculty interaction — essential to achieving the degree outcomes.

This program is recognized by the Province of Alberta and accredited by both the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). It is a Designated Learning Program eligible to receive international students on a study permit under DLI #019256741082.
