This person would have the heart of a loving servant leader and has the ability to quickly gel with our leadership team. This person will work within the distinctive of our Baptist congregation. We are looking for someone who is called to this Transitional Ministry and sees it as an expression of the grace of God.

Looking for a Lead Pastor 

The Role: High Level Evangelical Church (HLEC) is looking for a Lead Pastor with a shepherd’s heart. This man will model a strong walk with Christ, a clear calling to pastoral ministry, and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the board, will lead the church to a closer and deeper relationship with God. He will do this through solid Bible-based teaching and preaching that has application at all levels of maturity. The Lead Pastor will also guide the church by demonstrating the love of God through his own servant leadership and shepherd care for those around him. He will assist the board in casting vision for the future, in training and discipling leaders, as well as demonstrate a strong commitment to prayer, and actively promote reaching out to the lost with the gospel. Though this position requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, we desire our pastor to maintain a healthy balance of ministry and family life.Our Church: we are a multi-generational congregation with a weekly attendance of about 200. In addition to our weekly worship services, we have many active ministry teams including women’s ministry, Christian education (Sunday School) and youth. Our church family is involved in community support, as well as local and global missions. Effective ministry to the many young families who attend our church is a high priority for us.   • has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrates a consistent spiritual and moral character, and evidences a call to ministry
  • has the minimum of a bachelor’s degree in theological or related studies
  • adheres to and works within the framework of The Alliance Canada, and is willing to be licensed by the same
  • demonstrates ministry experience which has clearly evidenced the working of the Holy Spirit in the lives of people
  • implements change, seeing vision become reality while encouraging and empowering others to serve and engage
  • exhibits, models, and encourages prayer as an important factor in the church
  • appreciates and promotes a heart for missions
  • demonstrates a dynamic public presence and communicates well
  • is aware of current events in the world and sees social justice and action as part of the message of the Gospel


  • Fostering the spiritual growth in all members of the congregation as Lead Pastor through biblically based preaching and teaching.
  • Facilitating a process for developing and mentoring ministry leaders while working collaboratively with them.
  • Providing oversight and spiritual guidance to small groups, children, youth, and young adult leaders.
  • Shepherding the congregation through pastoral care and visitations.
  • Practicing and modelling spiritual and educational self-growth and development.
  • Participating as a member of the Elders Board.

Organizational Relationships

The Lead Pastor: 

  • is directly responsible to the elders and indirectly responsible to the congregation of the church
  • is responsible for hiring and oversight of all support staff
  • should foster close ties with The Alliance Canada and the Canadian Pacific District

Associate/Youth Pastor

Meadow Lake Evangelical Free Church is seeking to hire a man of true Christian experience and established character whose life reflects a love for the Lord. He shall qualify for this office according to the standards of 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1. Lead Pastor

First Baptist Church of Tellico Village (FBCTV), located in the beautiful foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee, is seeking a Lead Pastor to guide our congregation in our stated mission to “Love God, Love Others, and Reach Our World For Christ”.

Our new pastor will believe the Holy Scriptures are authored by God Himself and are without error. His exposition of God’s Word will be unapologetic, relevant, authentic and applicable to us personally and corporately. He will be known by others as meeting the Biblical expectations of 1 Timothy 3:17, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-3, Ephesians 4:11-15, and 2 Timothy 4:1-5.

Our new pastor will have at least 15 years of experience and have fruitfully served as a Lead Pastor or similar role in a church with a multi-level pastoral staff serving 400 or more congregants. We expect that our new pastor, at a minimum, will have a Master of Divinity or Master of Theology degree from an accredited, conservative seminary.
