About NewLife:
NewLife Community Church was planted as a church for the unchurched in Lloydminster in the 1990’s. It was casual, valued excellence in music and was known as a church that anyone was welcomed to attend. Over the decades NewLife has matured and grown, but we still value that vision to bring Christ into the homes of people and families in Lloydminster who do not know Him yet. The past season of ministry we have become more intentional about discipling those who are new to faith in Jesus, while still engaging in outreach to those who are not connected to Christ or to a church. Imperfect people are always welcome at NewLife. Over 50 % of our church is comprised of first-generation believers. We are not a religiously oriented church. We keep our leadership and organizational structure lean and simple. Our focus is outreach, relationships, God’s Word and ministry. We empower leaders to lead and our staff team is empowered to lead the ministries of NewLife with the church family as ministry support. It is essential that any interns or staff embrace the culture and philosophy of ministry of NewLife

The Youth Intern will be accountable to the Lead Pastor for Youth and other Ministries and will serve under the leadership of the Children’s Ministry Director for NewLife Kids responsibilities.
Term: 9 Month Ministry Internship from the end of August 2025 to the end of May 2026.
The Ministry Cycle at NewLife runs on a Sunday to Thursday cycle where the whole term serves together on those days and Fridays and Saturdays are off. Of course, there are occasional ministry events on Fridays and Saturdays and adjustments and accommodations can be made with the Lead Pastor.
Pay: $3000.00 per month. FTE – or $18.00/hour for PTE in the case of a student who would like to apply. Time off for Christmas and other significant events can be arranged with the Lead Pastor.
