01.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching…”

— 2 Tim. 3:16

Why CBT?

Faithful to Scripture.

Every program is anchored in the inspired, authoritative word of God. We don’t trade conviction for relevance — we equip students to handle Scripture rightly and proclaim it courageously.

  • Aligned with the Canadian National Baptist Convention’s Statement of Faith.
  • Accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).
  • Curriculum built around exegesis, theology, and the gospel for every nation.

Why CBT?

Faculty who've been there.

Our professors hold doctoral degrees — and they’ve also served in the church and on the mission field. They’ve planted, pastored, and crossed cultures across four continents. They teach from experience, not just theory.
  • Missionary experience in Croatia, Portugal, Hungary, Scotland, South Africa, and beyond.
  • An 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio means real mentorship.
  • Open doors and shared meals — continued spiritual encouragement long after you graduate.

02.

Spiritual encouragement long after you graduate.

Sent.

“Here I am. Send me.”

— Isaiah 6:8

Why CBT?

A community that sends.

From a remote village in the Yukon to downtown Vancouver to the international mission field, our graduates are equipped to go where the gospel is needed most. We don’t just teach — we send.
  • Connected to 400+ partner churches and a vision to plant 1,000.
  • Alumni serving across Canada — from coast to coast and into the Territories.
  • Graduates carrying the gospel to nations around the world.

Requires a high school diploma (undergraduate) or a completed bachelor’s degree (graduate). Occasional students cannot apply for reduced housing rates or scholarships.

No Credit

Audit Students

Sit in on undergraduate or graduate courses purely to benefit from the content. No tests, no papers, no credit — just learning. Up to two courses per semester. Audit students must meet the same educational prerequisites as the courses they audit and pay an audit library fee.

Tim Allers

My 3 years as a student was a positive, uplifting time and an opportunity for me to grow and learn. The professors and staff went the extra mile to help students prepare for ministry.

All the CBT faculty really love and support me. That sacrificial love has shaped me into a better disciple and servant of Christ.
