Master of Christian Ministry
The Master of Christian Ministry is a 55 credit-hour flexible graduate degree designed to equip leaders for diverse ministry roles in churches, missions, chaplaincy, and communities. Choose from four specialized tracks and complete your degree in 2-3 years through full-time, part-time, or online learning.

The MCMin is built around four specialized tracks. Each one prepares you for a specific ministry context and includes 16 credit hours of focused study. Start by exploring which track aligns with your calling.
Option 1
Missions & Church Planting
Equip yourself to lead missional ministry in hard places. This track prepares church planters, missionaries, and leaders who want to expand God’s kingdom in underreached contexts. Study evangelism, cross-cultural ministry, and church planting strategy alongside biblical and theological foundations.
Option 2
Pastoral Leadership
Prepare for pastoral roles across various ministry settings. Whether planting a new church, joining an established congregation, or leading a specific ministry focus, this track offers accelerated completion and concentrates on biblical teaching, preaching, pastoral care, and spiritual leadership.
Option 3
Spiritual Care & Chaplaincy
Build foundational skills in spiritual care and pastoral counseling. Ideal for hospital chaplains, military chaplains, and pastoral counselors, this track emphasizes ethics, cultural competence, spiritual formation, and the art of helping others through life’s hardest seasons.
Option 4
Applied Ministry
Pursue the greatest flexibility in your studies. This track emphasizes field-based learning, internships, and elective selection tailored to your unique ministry context. Perfect for those with emerging or unconventional ministry roles.

What is the MCMin?
The Master of Christian Ministry prepares you for diverse ministry roles across churches, missions organizations, chaplaincy services, and community contexts. Unlike more rigid seminary degrees, the MCMin is designed around flexibility—you choose one of four specialized tracks that match your calling, combine it with core theological education, and customize your remaining credits to deepen expertise in areas that matter most to your ministry.

The prerequisite for this degree is a B.A. degree, or its equivalent, from an accredited college or university. Degrees from unaccredited schools are considered on an individual basis.

A total of 55 credit hours is required for completion of the degree, combining core courses, your chosen track, and free electives.

At least 8 credit hours must be completed face-to-face (on campus, via Zoom, or at intensive courses) to provide regular and substantive student–faculty interaction — essential to achieving the degree outcomes.

The MCMin is a flexible degree offering full-time, part-time, and fully online study options, with typical completion in 2-3 years. International students may apply; DLI designation and study permit eligibility will be confirmed upon application.
