Who's it for?

The Samuel Program is designed for high school graduates who want to spend a year taking college-level courses in a Christian environment and receiving the tools they need to prepare for their future.
Samuel Program • 02

What is it?

The Samuel Program is two semesters of classroom study along with other college students. Opportunities for spiritual growth include small group accountability; mentoring and counselling from professors, staff and upperclassmen/women; weekly campus-wide worship; and community service. By completing the required 24 credit hours of study, students will earn the Samuel Program Certificate.

Students who successfully complete the Samuel Program will have the option of continuing on in the college in either the Diploma or Bachelor of Christian Studies. All course work completed applies fully to these two programs. The Samuel Program is an investment that will pay off for the rest of your life.

What you need to know about program requirements and how to begin your Samuel Program journey.

The Samuel Program is designed for high school graduates and young adults. There are no formal academic prerequisites beyond high school completion, though academic readiness is assessed during the admissions process.

A total of 24 credit hours is required for completion of the Samuel Program, distributed across Biblical Foundations, Spiritual Formation and Growth, and Life Skills and Ministry.

All course work is completed on campus in a warm, supportive Christian community environment with regular student–faculty interaction and opportunities to develop meaningful peer relationships.

Students who successfully complete the Samuel Program have the option of continuing at CBT in either the Diploma or Bachelor of Christian Studies program. All course work completed in the Samuel Program applies fully to these programs.
