─ Scholarships

Help to make CBT affordable.

Scholarships play a significant role in keeping a CBT education within reach. The vast majority of our students receive one or more of the scholarships below — and applying takes just a few minutes through Populi.
How it works

Four things to know.

01

Apply each year

Submit your scholarship application through Populi before each new school year (or before the Winter semester if you’re starting in January).

02

Be in a program

Most scholarships require you to be admitted to a CBT undergraduate or graduate program and registered in at least two courses that semester.

03

Keep your GPA up

Returning students need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3. Individual scholarships may have additional criteria.

04

Account in good standing

To receive a scholarship, your Populi account must be in good standing — no outstanding balance unless a documented arrangement is in place.

Some students qualify for more than one.

The fine print

A few important things to know.

Some practical details on how awards are determined and applied.

01   You may be eligible for more than one scholarship — apply for everything you qualify for.

02   Scholarships apply to one specific semester at a time and cannot be transferred to other semesters or to charges like rent.

03   Qualifying students receive a conditional award notice before the first day of classes. The final amount is determined after the last day to drop classes and communicated within two weeks.

04   CBT-funded scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of CBT management. Meeting the qualifications doesn’t necessarily guarantee an award.
